Brenda Teixeira

The Teixeira and Lopez families are deeply saddened to announce the death of Brenda, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend.

Brenda is survived by her children Gabriella and Evan their father Joshua, sisters Ivonne & Ara, mother Emma.

Brenda came into this world on Monday, April 22, 1968. Suffice it to say, the lives of her parents, Herminio (Miño) López and Emma Menchaca de López, and her older sister, Ivonne were forever changed. That is who Brenda was: a woman who radically impacted everyone she met.

On October 22, 2022, Brenda left this life and met her loving Savior, Jesus, the one who held her heart.

Brenda was a gifted artist, writer, and editor. Her detailed editorial prowess enabled Brenda to be associated with multiple best-selling Christian books, within the Spanish marketplace. Because of that, an anonymous patron is setting up the "Brenda López Scholarship" for editors/translators from Puerto Rico, who meet the criteria.

If you have read this far and you knew Brenda, you would know that she would not want you to cry - but rather smile and celebrate. Not celebrate her (though we are!), but rather, celebrate Jesus. Therefore, you are welcome to join us this Saturday, October 29th, 11:45 am at Calvary Assembly of God Church, located in Winter Park, FL. Burial services will follow at Orlando Memorial Gardens, Apopka FL.
