Carol Joy Ried (Lazar)

- age 81 of Leesburg, FL.; passed away October 8, 2024. Born October 9, 1942 in Herrin, IL. to Steven & Laverne Lazar. She was raised in Ziegler, IL.; & graduated from Ziegler High School in 1960.

She is the beloved wife of 41 years to Walter A. Ried; and the late Ronald Dean Williams; devoted mother of Mark (Marlene) Williams, Scott (Jacqueline) Williams, & the late Michael Williams; proud grandmother of Quentin Williams, David Ried, Kandice (Kody) Whitman, Sean (Julie) Ried, & Jessica (Tony) Gatlin. She is also survived by many extended family and friends.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Mrs. Ried was an Executive Secretary at Sheet Metal Equipment Inc. from 1975 - 1982. Afterwards, she was the Marketing Secretary at the Coca-Cola Company from 1986 - 2002.
