Cindy Harman

Cindy Harman, 67, of Altamonte Springs, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2024. Born in New York, Cindy moved to Florida as a young child, where she built a life centered around her faith, family, and creative talents.

Cindy was a devoted mother to Jennifer and Jonathan. In 2000, when her daughter Jennifer suffered a life-altering injury, Cindy became her primary caregiver, offering unwavering love and strength throughout her daughter's journey. Following Jennifer's passing in August 2023, Cindy deeply missed her and, guided by her faith, longed to be reunited with her in heaven.

Cindy met her husband in 1979, responding to a newspaper ad in the Orlando Sentinel from a Christian man seeking a woman who loved Jesus. This was the beginning of a beautiful life together, marked by shared faith and purpose. Together, they ventured into various business projects, including Adventure Candy Company and Prophecy Countdown, where Cindy co-authored a monthly Christian newsletter. Her section, Together In Prayer (TIP), shared heartfelt reflections and the messages she felt called to impart to others.

Before becoming a homemaker, Cindy's career in advertising included roles at the Orlando Sentinel and Albertsons. Her sense of humor often shone through in stories like the time she mistakenly listed Thanksgiving turkeys for 79 cents each in an ad, a memorable event that brought smiles to many.

An artist at heart, Cindy expressed her creativity through drawing, digital art, and advertising design. Her artistic spirit, coupled with her faith, was a guiding force in her life and in the lives of those who knew her. Her message to "Keep the Fire Burning" embodied her desire for fellow Christians to nurture their passion for Jesus Christ.

Cindy is survived by her husband Jim, her son Jon, her mother Margie, her brother Dale, and her beloved Chihuahuas, Sugar and Spice. Her legacy of faith, love, and creativity lives on in each of them.
