Clara Luz Carmona

Clara Luz Carmona, aged 98, passed away on September 4, 2024, in Winter Garden, Florida. Born on January 11, 1930, in Dorado, Puerto Rico, Clara brought joy and laughter to all who knew her throughout her vibrant and fulfilling life. Clara dedicated many years as a "Mother" to all who crossed her path, where she was respected for her gift of laughter and warmth. 

Her passions extended beyond her love of family into her personal life, where she embraced hobbies such as gardening, poetry, and interior design. Clara's approach to life was to celebrate it fully-she loved to laugh, tell stories, and dance. Her presence was a bright light in the lives of those around her. 

She is survived by her loving children, Ivonne, Robert, Edward, Theresa, and Clarisa Carmona. Clara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Luis Enrique and son, Luis Carmona. 

Viewing and service will be held at Highland Memory Garden in Apopka, FL, starting at 12 noon EST, followed by an open service at 1 pm EST. Attendees will proceed to the cemetery immediately after the service. Location: Highland Memory Garden 3329 East Semoran Blvd Apopka, FL
