Doris Howell

Doris Lee Howell, loving mother, grandmother & granny, great-grandmother, & great-great grandmother; passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on November 6, 2023, in Orlando, FL. She was born on June 1, 1932, in Alabama to her loving parents. Doris will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She dedicated her career as a cook in the Head Start Program, where she tirelessly prepared wholesome meals for children. Doris's passion for cooking extended beyond her work, as she delighted in sharing her culinary expertise with her loved ones.

Doris is the loving mother of Mary Robertson, Kay Salmon, Harry Jefferson Aroian, & the late Barbara Ann Shipman, who were a constant source of joy and pride for her. Doris's warm smile, gentle spirit, and unconditional love will forever be remembered by her family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 17th, 10am at Highland Funeral Home, 3329 E. Semoran Blvd., Apopka FL.; where funeral services will be held beginning at 11am. Doris will be laid to rest immediately following services in Highland memory Gardens, Apopka, FL.

Doris Lee Howell touched the lives of many with her kind heart, generosity, and contagious laughter. Her legacy will continue to inspire and bring comfort to those who loved her.
