Elaine Claire Daley passed away on November 25, 2023. Born Elaine Claire L’Heureux on September 27, 1940, in Gloversville, New York she was 83 years old and a long-time resident of Central Florida. Elaine moved to Winter Park with her family in 1945.
She was a proud graduate of Winter Park High School (1958) where she created lifelong friends and met her future husband Frank Daley. Elaine worked hard her whole life. Many of those years she worked for the City of Orlando. She took pride in creating order and cleanliness in every task she took on. She was a kind and attentive listener, lighthearted and full of spirit and fun. She could be found cheering at ball games, attending family dinners and extending unconditional love. She will be remembered as a woman of great faith and devotion to her family.
She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Frank Daley Jr. and her parents Edgar J. L’Heureux Sr. and Dorothy Bradford L’Heureux and brother Edgar J. L’Heureux Jr. Elaine is survived by her daughters Pamela Lloyd; Mount Dora, Deborah Daley; Mount Dora, her five grandchildren Julie Robinson, Steven Lloyd, Lindsey Robinson, Curtis Schneider, Stephanie Schneider and eight great-grandchildren Cohen, Wesley, Kipton, Ridge, Renen, Reyn, Rowen and Carson in addition to many loving nieces and nephews.
She will rest at Palm Cemetery in Winter Park Florida next to the love of her life, Frank. Funeral services will be held at Palm Cemetery in Winter Park, FL on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 9:15am
