Felipe Borrero-Beauchamp, beloved husband, father and grandfather born May 1933, passed away peacefully Sunday evening Dec 11th. He was 89 years young.
Felipe was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico where he grew up; until entering service and moving to New York. Felipe proudly served in the US Army retiring as a Sergeant First Class in May of 93 and retired from the US Postal service culminating a lifetime of service to the nation. He is survived by his wife Judith Borrero, and two sons Daniel F. Borrero and Jeffrey F. Borrero. Beloved by all his grandkids.
After retirement he relocated first to Reading, PA and then to Sanford, FL to spend time with his family and enjoy life. Devoted to his faith he continued to serve in every church community when and where he could, always seeking to help others. Those that knew him knew of his love for his sister Socorro and his brothers Frank and Guillermo and his passion for his faith.
He always lit up when the grandkids stopped by to say hi, hangout with Grandpa, watch the Mets playball, or watch a movie and have Kit-Kats or strawberry shortcake.
