In his 54th year, George C. Milstead passed away peacefully on January 9, 2019. George was predeceased by his parents John and Christian Milstead. Survivors are his siblings Crystal Howard (Steve), Dawn Milstead (Laura), Julie Sahr and Blake Milstead; his nephews and nieces Trevor Howard, Christopher McKeever, Taylor Howard, Austin McKeever, Trent Howard, Colin Milstead, Hannah Sahr, Kylie Milstead and Colby Milstead.
George worked for Walt Disney World for over 20 years. He started as a theme park attendant, drove the trams and worked his way up to management in creative costuming. George loved a parade. He was most energized by creative pursuits, teamwork and entertainment. He is remembered as a great friend who helped many.
A viewing will be held at Highland Funeral Home, 3329 E. Semoran Blvd., Apopka FL. on Monday, January 14, 2019 from 6-8 pm. George's life will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 11 am at Highland Funeral Home.
