Joan Hammer Bailiff
Joan Hammer Bailiff, a kind and gentle soul, passed away peacefully, reuniting with her beloved family. Joan was a proud graduate of the University of Central Florida, where she pursued her passion for education.
She had a deep love for animals, especially her cherished dog, Missy, who was her constant companion. Joan found joy in life's simple pleasures-cozy socks, bright colorful clothes, and the warmth of family traditions. She adored her father Norris's funny jokes, her mother Lore's comforting cooking, and the special bond she shared with her sister, Michelle.
Joan's heart was full of love for her niece Jessica, her thoughtful cousin Tammy, and her devoted Aunt Judy, who always made sure she had warm clothes and soft socks. She treasured family visits, handwritten cards from Tammy, and long drives with Missy by her side.
A woman of faith, Joan attended church regularly and found peace and strength in her spiritual life. She will be deeply missed by her aunts, cousins, friends, and all who knew and loved her.
While our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort knowing Joan is now at peace, reunited with her family in eternal love.
A private memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1st at 10:30am at Highland Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a local animal shelter in her memory.
