Jo Ann Swane

Jo Ann Swane, 67, of Apopka, Florida passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022, from complications resulting from her recent cancer diagnosis. She was born in Trenton, New Jersey on October 5, 1954. Jo Ann lived in Virginia for several years before moving to Florida in 1999 after the passing of her first husband, Mikel Swane. She is survived be her husband, John Atkinson, son, Chad Swane, sister, Carol (Ralph) Caban, niece, Emily Caban, and her beloved dog, Tasha. Jo Ann will be deeply missed by her family and friends. A celebration of Jo Ann's life will be held on Saturday, July 9 from 11:00 to 1:00 at Highland Funeral Home, 3329 E. Semoran Blvd., Apopka, Florida.
