Jorge A. Vasquez, a man of many talents and a heart full of love, will be remembered and celebrated as we bid farewell to his earthly presence. Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Jorge was a dedicated husband to Maria M. Vasquez and a loving father to their children - Richard, George, Janerie, Wanda, and Yohenny. His love extended to his cherished grandchildren Jorge M., Yaniris, Erica, Abigail, Brandon, Athena, and Gabriela, who brought immense joy to his life.
Jorge's journey was marked by dedication and hard work, which shone brightly in his roles as a mine and plant supervisor for various establishments, including Falconbridge Dominicana S.A. (Falcondo). He also held supervisor positions at Brooklyn Hospital in New York, the Village Apartments in Orlando, and Vantare Featherlight Coaches in Sanford.
His pursuits were not only limited to his professional endeavors but extended to his active involvement in church programs, such as: youth director, choir member, deacon, elder, head elder, sabbath school teacher, social and recreational director, building director. He served his church community with unwavering commitment, touching the lives of many.
In his leisure time, Jorge found solace in his hobbies and interests, including reading, traveling, decorating, remodeling, and collecting tools. His favorite colors, light blue and beige, mirrored his gentle and warm spirit, a spirit that he lovingly shared with his family and friends.
Throughout his life, Jorge believed in the power of serving others and the importance of family. His visionary mindset, coupled with his perfectionism, inspired all those around him to strive for excellence. He imparted wisdom through his words, always speaking from the heart, and fostered lasting memories filled with laughter, especially during moments spent watching funny movies with his loved ones and sharing stories of his mischievous childhood.
Jorge's siblings - Elba Moreta, Adomis Vasquez, Urbando Vasquez, Rafael Amancio, Maria Amancio, Ramona Amancio, Yanet Amancio, Janer Vasquez Cabrera, and Soraya Vasquez - share in the sorrow of his passing and the legacy of love he leaves behind.
As we prepare to honor Jorge's life and legacy, we invite all who knew and loved him to join us in celebrating his journey. May his memory live on in our hearts as we celebrate a life well-lived.
