Joseph A. Sealy

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Allan Sealy on September 29th, 2024 at the age of 95. Allan, as he was commonly called, was born on October 23rd, 1928 in Port of Spain Trinidad to parents Joseph and Cordelia Sealy. He was a civil engineer for the city of Yonkers, NY before retiring in 2005 to Kissimmee, Florida.

His friends and family will fondly remember his quiet demeanor, his exceptional baking skills, his musical talent and his charitable nature.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Charles and Milton Sealy, sisters Rose McPhie, Phyllis Garcia, and Louise Sears-Carter; daughter Maureen Sealy.

He leaves to mourn his loving wife of almost 60 years, Enid B. Sealy; his daughters Marlene Sealy, Carlene and husband Neville Prosper; his grandchildren Eron Prosper, Brittney Sealy, Faith Prosper, great-granddaughter Maxine Prosper; sister Cynthia Sealy-Cooper, sister-in-law Eunice Sealy.

Other survivors include numerous nieces, nephews, other friends and relatives to include the Harris family.
