Dalla Tezza, Katherine "Katie" Cilano

Katie's hard fought battle with cancer came to a peaceful end on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Cornerstone Hospice in Ocoee, Florida, with her husband, and love of her life, Joe, by her side. If you knew Katie, you knew she was passionate about most things, and made no apologies for it. She loved Alabama football. A native of Oscar, LA, Katie was a graduate of Catholic High School of Pointe Coupee and attended Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA. An avid gamer, Katie was known as Kat5Khaos online. She made friends from all over the world and loved The Sims, iRacing, Truck Simulator, Star Citizen, and Call of Duty.
In addition to her husband Joseph Dalla Tezza, Katie is survived by her mother and step-father, Monica and Rick Walton of Oscar, LA, Father-in-law and Mother-in -Law, Albert and Jocelyn Dalla Tezza of Orlando, FL, Brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Julie Cilano, of Washington, D.C. and Phillip and Sharon Cilano, of Oscar, LA, niece Braelynn-Anne Cilano, and Godchild, Nikkya Morris and a host of extended family. She was predeceased by her father, Charles "Chuck" Cilano, Jr. and her grandparents, George and Fran Bartee and Marilyn and Charles Cilano, Sr.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary of False River Catholic Church in New Roads, LA on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be Monday, June 7, 2021 at Evergreen Cemetery in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
