Katherine (Kathy) Ann Doyle, age 72, Orlando, FL, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022.
Kathy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Kathy is survived by her husband Frank, children Denny (Amy) and Kristie (Brian), her stepson JJ, her grandchildren Darnell and Payton, her sister Mary O'Malley, her brother Michael (Maureen) Bigley, and many loved nieces and nephews. Preceded by her parents Jim and Ann Bigley and her brothers John Bigley and Jimmy Bigley.
Kathy was born to Jim and Ann Bigley on May 8, 1949. Her father retired from the Air Force as a Master Sergeant and the family remained in Bedford, MA. She graduated from Bedford high School in 1967. She met her husband, Frank Doyle in 1973 at Hanscom Air force Base and married on March 8, 1975. As a military spouse, they lived in many great places, after Frank's retirement they settled in Orlando, FL.
Kathy retired in 2011 with 30 years of Federal Service. She worked various jobs as a Military wife, but once settled in Orlando, she went back to college and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Columbia College. After college she was a Contract Specialist and retired as a Contracting Officer for Program Executive Office Simulation, Training and Instrumentation Acquisition Center. She had many friends throughout her career that always remained very special to her, even after retirement.
Kathy enjoyed vacationing with her husband and family. They went on cruises, beach getaways, England and Ireland to visit family, and many road trips to Ohio and Massachusetts to see her siblings and her nieces and nephews. She cherished this time with her family. She always had Sunday dinners with her children and grandchildren. Kathy was known for her caring and loving personality, her beautiful smile and contagious laugh will be dearly missed by all.
