Laurent A Pellerin Sr, age 93, of Winter Springs FL, entered eternal life on July 20, 2021. He was born in New Hampshire in 1928 to Henry J Pellerin and Rose M Pellerin (Leclerc).
Laurent was well known to all as "Larry", and was preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years, Maureen T Pellerin (Nowinski), and their daughter Laurie Anne McNeil.
He was also preceded in death by his siblings: Theresa Pellerin of Vermont, Donald Pellerin of Connecticut, and Pauline Nichols of Vermont. He is survived by his brother Roger Pellerin of Vermont.
Larry is survived by his two sons, Laurent A Pellerin Jr and John J Pellerin, both of Florida; his six grandchildren, Heather Richardson (Michigan), Christel Ghiloni (Idaho), Catherine McGuire (NC), Jessica Pellerin (FL), Brian McNeil (FL) and Sarah Adams (FL); his five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Larry made military service his career for over 20 years in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged, after which, he served his Winter Springs community through city council and other civic and church endeavors. Larry will be forever loved and greatly missed by all who knew him... "Until we are all reunited in heaven. We love you Dad and Pepé."
The public is invited to a viewing at Highland Funeral Home (3329 East Semoran Blvd, Apopka) on Wednesday July 28 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Annunciation Catholic Church (1020 Montgomery Rd, Altamonte Springs) on Thursday July 29 at 10:00 am followed by burial with Military Honors at Woodlawn Memorial Park (400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd. in Gotha)
