Lidia A. Rodriguez, born on July 10, 1931 in the Dominican Republic, went to be with your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 20, 2024 in Orlando, Florida. She was a relentless woman of faith whose exemplary life testified of her unwavering dedication to the Grand Commission. She was the last surviving member of the Rodriguez siblings.

As a Proverbs 31 woman, she dedicated her life to her family and the missionary work in Dominican Republic. Supporting a family of six children as a single mother, she worked as a seamstress and also many other entrepreneurial endeavors throughout her 93 years of life. Empowered by her faith, Lidia showed her unbound determination and resilience in all her life's progressive trajectory: from humble beginnings to owner of real estate properties in Dominican Republic and the United States. Her legacy of “faith, hope, and love” remains in the lives of all those she met but especially in the lives of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and all her extended family: the Rodriguez, the Frias, and the Gonzalez.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Lidia's life and honor her memory during the visitation on October 29, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Highland Funeral Home & Memory Gardens located at 3329 E Semoran Blvd, Apopka, FL, 32703. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, culminating with interment services at 1:15 PM, concluding at 1:45 PM.

Lidia A. Rodríguez, nacida el 10 de julio de 1931 en la República Dominicana, partió para estar con nuestro Señor y Salvador Jesúcristo el 20 de octubre de 2024 en Orlando, Florida. Fue una mujer de fe feroz cuya vida ejemplar dio testimonio de su inquebrantable dedicación a la Gran Comisión. Fue la última sobreviviente de los hermanos Rodríguez.

Como mujer de Proverbios 31, dedicó su vida a su familia y al trabajo misionero en República Dominicana. Sostuvo a una familia de seis hijos como madre soltera, trabajó como costurera y también en muchos otros emprendimientos empresariales a lo largo de sus 93 años de vida. Empoderada por su fe, Lidia mostró su determinación y resiliencia ilimitadas en toda la trayectoria progresiva de su vida: desde sus humildes comienzos hasta ser propietaria de varias propiedades inmobiliarias en República Dominicana y Estados Unidos. Su legado de “fe, esperanza y amor” permanece en la vida de todos los que la conocieron, pero especialmente en la vida de sus hijos, nietos, bisnietos y toda su familia extendida: los Rodríguez, los Frías y los González.

Invitamos a los amigos y familiares a celebrar la vida de Lidia y honrar su memoria durante la velación el 29 de octubre de 2024, de 11:00 a. m. a 12:00 p. m. en Highland Funeral Home & Memory Gardens, ubicada en 3329 E Semoran Blvd, Apopka, FL, 32703. Después de la velación, se llevará a cabo un servicio fúnebre de 12:00 p. m. a 1:00 p. m., que culminará con los servicios de entierro a la 1:15 p. m. y concluirá a la 1:45 p. m.
