Lily Suansing

Lily C. Suansing, at age 88, passed away peacefully in her home with her family by her side on Sunday, January 19, 2020.

She was born July 5, 1931 in Leyte, Philippines. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who dedicated her life to taking care of her family. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Julian Suansing; her 2 brothers Romeo and Edmundo, and sister Celia; her 4 children Julie (& Ted), Roy (& Ale), Daniel (& Estella), and Limbani (& Elmore); and her 4 grandchildren Danielle, Neil, Jill, and Lauren.

Lily was one of the kindest, loving, and long-suffering women you’ve ever met. Apart from caring for her 4 children, she opened her heart and home to her 3 nieces and 3 nephews whom she raised when they lost their mother and their father worked abroad. “Mamang” as everyone called her, loved Jesus and her church family. She was a church secretary, a superintendent, a deaconess, and head of Women’s ministry. She was named Woman of the Year in 1998 by the Fil-Am SDA church. Her friends and family will miss her dearly.

Memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Highland Funeral Home, 3329 E. Semoran Blvd., Apopka, FL.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted 10:00 AM Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Highland Funeral Home.
