Linda Kay Tucker

Linda Kay Tucker passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Advent Health Hospital in Orlando. She was 78 years young, born in Washington, D.C. on July 29, 1946. She worked at Walt Disney World for over 40 years as a lead foreman involved in merchandising. 

Linda was a single mother, who worked diligently to support and raise daughter, Theresa. Once retired, Linda enjoyed the simple pleasures of spending time with her family and friends, especially her beloved grandson, Jacob. Linda was known to many as "Grandma Linda", in which she doted on those in her life. 

She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Snell, her Son-in-law Jay Snell and their son Jacob. She is also survived by her brother Jim Howell (Shirley) and her two sisters, Sandra Calderaro and Janice Ferrell, and also by many cousins, nieces and nephews, and all her extended family. She will be reunited in Heaven above with her parents Mary Agnes McDaniel and Horace Tucker, her elder brothers William Walter, and George and her elder sisters, Helen, Dottie, Nancy, Joyce and Carol.

There will not be a memorial service held; however, she will be laid to rest at Highland Memory Gardens in Apopka, Florida. Her family and friends will gather for a Celebration of Life at a later date. In Lieu of Flowers, the family is asking you to consider making a donation to your local animal shelter in her honor.
