Lucille Gayle, also known as Aunt Sil or Grandma, a cherished wife, mother, aunt, sister and friend peacefully transitioned on January 27,2025 born in Jamaica to Lubel Grange and George Gordon. Mrs. Lucille Gayle embodied unwavering faith and grace, living as a devoted woman of God, whose life was rich with love, laughter and joy married to her surviving spouse, Cecil for 46 years, they shared a close emotional bond that survived the test of times, Her family was her greatest treasure.
She possessed a deep passion for singing, praising and praying. She had an infectious laughter she had a enormous charm and great sense of humor, her presence illuminated any room she entered. Lucille's generosity knew no bounds, even when resources was scarce, children in the community found her a nurturing mother figure and many sought her wise spiritual advice. Mrs. Lucille Gayle was a God-fearing woman her wisdom, strength and compassion impacted all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She faced the challenge of dementia but even with that she continued praying, singing and reading her bible.
She leaves behind legacy of love, faith and strength and her memory will forever reside in the hearts of those she touched.
Mrs Lucille Gayle survived by her husband Cecil Gayle: her children Delroy, Dennis, Marcia, Sylvan, Mauva and Sylvia. fourteen Grandchildren nineteen great- grandchildren and one great - grand on the way, along with two sisters Bernice and Letitica, nieces and nephew. May she rest in eternal peace.
