In Loving Memory of Manuel Pazmino

Manuel Pazmino, a long-time resident of Altamonte Springs, FL, passed away peacefully at his home on April 8, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer. He was 87 years old.
Born in Ambato, Ecuador, in 1937, Manuel was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Francisco Pazmino and Rosa Adriana Arcos. He is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Alicia Astudillo, and his loving daughters: Marlen Pazmino, Frances Pazmino, Monica Pazmino, and Annet Pazmino. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Freddy Andrade, Esteban Andrade, Nicole Bravo, Michelle Bravo, Gabriel Ortiz, Juan Ortiz, and Stephany Bridges; as well as his siblings: German Pazmino, Oswaldo Pazmino, Rosa Pazmino, and Felicia Pazmino.
A dedicated member of his church, Manuel was an active part of his parish, generously offering his time and heart in service to his faith community. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and was deeply committed to making a positive difference in the lives of others.
Manuel had a deep love for music and found great joy in playing the guitar, often filling his home with the warm sounds of the songs he loved. He also had a profound appreciation for nature, often taking time to enjoy the outdoors and find peace in its beauty.
He was especially devoted to his grandchildren, always helping them in any way he could - whether offering guidance, support, or simply sharing his time and love. His presence in their lives was a constant source of strength, wisdom, and warmth.
Manuel will be remembered as a devoted father, a loving husband, and a man of integrity and kindness. He was a role model to many and brought joy and warmth to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and community.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Highland Funeral Home. A viewing will take place on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Highland Memory Gardens, 3329 East Semoran Blvd., Apopka, FL 32703, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A service will follow at the same location from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, with burial immediately afterward at 3:00 PM.
