Paul V. Kraus, a beloved husband, father, Opa, brother, and mentor, passed away on August 12, 2024, in Longwood, FL, at the age of 85. Born in Santa Anna, Texas on June 2, 1939, Paul was a dedicated wealth manager for over 35 years, partnering with numerous clients in their financial stewardship journeys. More importantly, Paul had an incredible passion to live out 2 Timothy 4:7 of fighting the good fight and running the race to keep the faith and expand the kingdom of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Paul's commitment to service extended beyond his job, as he was a proud member and supporter of various organizations, including the Kingdom Advisors, CBMC National & Local Boards, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Gameplan for Life and Making Truth Clear Project, Inc. He dedicated his time to causes he believed would shape the kingdom of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ through his unwavering dedication to running the race.
Throughout his life, Paul found joy in various activities, such as hiking, biking, and reading, but his true passion lay in traveling with his family. Whether exploring Europe or enjoying Disney cruises, Paul cherished these moments with his loved ones, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
A veteran of the Army, Paul served his country proudly before starting his successful career in wealth management. His legacy lives on through his family, including his loving spouse, Saundra Kraus, their children Kevin (Sue) and Jeff (Tammy) Kraus, brother Jerry (Faye) and sister Linda (Terry) Davis, along with five wonderful grandchildren.
Paul Kraus enriched the lives of all who knew him, leaving a legacy of dedication, love, and adventure. His presence will be deeply missed, but his passion to further the kingdom will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
A graveside service will be held at Highland Memory Gardens (3329 E. Semoran Boulevard, Apopka, FL, 32703) on August 19, 2024, at 11:00 am, where Paul will find his final resting place.
