Robert Smith

ROBERT MARTIN SMITH, SR.

Robert was born May 6, 1954 in Kenmore, NY.; son of Martin and Donna Smith. He moved to Orlando FL. in 1964 where he attended school. He graduated from Winter Park high School in 1972. Robert started off as a mechanic and rose to the position of Manager of various Firestone Service Centers. He was married in 1973 to Kathleen Mador and the couple had 2 children, Robert Jr., & Cheryl Angelique. His many hobbies included fishing tournaments, bowling, nascar, and the Buffalo Bills and Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed many hours at the Hard Rock Casino. Robert Jr. lives in Port St. Lucie, FL. and Cheryl is married to Guy Carpenter. They live in Punta Gorda, FL. He is also survived by his mother Donna Mae Smith of Altamonte Springs FL., a brother Richard Smith, sister Kim Roman. He is the nephew of Fred & Ruby Smith of Inverness FL., Alan & Audry Worth of Niagara Falls NY, & Deloris Oswald of Tonawanda, NY. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 5th, 11am at Highland Funeral Home, 3329 E. Semoran Blvd. Following, Robert will be laid to rest in Highland Memory Gardens, Apopka FL. The family requests in lieu of flowers that all donations be made to Vitas Hospice at https://www.vitas.com/about-us/how-to-donate in Robert's memory.
