Ruth Riley

Mrs. Ruth Allison Riley, 93, Land O' Lakes, passed on Sunday, July 14. She had worked as a kindergarten teacher/educator. Born in Buffalo, New York, in 1926 and grew up in Hamburg, NY. She was married for 50 years to Harry Robert Riley, from 1947 to 1998, when he passed away. They moved to Central Florida in 1953 and for years were actively involved at Hiawassa Bible Chapel. They had 2 children, a son, Joel Steven and daughter, Kristine Lynn. More recently, she was retired and was a member of Idlewild Baptist Church. Survivors: Joel Riley, Monica (wife) and granddaughter Ashlyn (Joel's daughter), and 3 grandchildren through Kristine - Justin, Jennifer, and Jessica and 6 great grandchildren. Homegoing service will be Thursday, July 25 at 6pm at Central Bible Chapel, 12024 Gunn Hwy, Odessa.
