Sharon Marie Hunn Newton

Sharon Marie Hunn Newton passed away on Sunday, July 21st, 2024, peacefully in her home in Orlando, Florida. Sharon recently moved to the area and previously resided in Orange Park, Florida.

 Sharon was predeceased by her mother Mary J. Newton, father Frank A. Hunn, and sister Karan L. White. 

Sharon is survived by her Dad Troy Newton, siblings: Daniel Newton, (Colleen Newton) Troy Newton, (Allison Newton) John Hunn, (Lisa Hunn) Robert Hunn, (Tammy Hunn) Timmy Newton, (Bonnie Newton) Angel Elliott, (David Elliot), and Leonard Newton, (Kathy Newton) along with her children: daughter Amanda Newton, stepdaughter Valerie Yonkosky, stepdaughter April Newton, and stepson Christopher Newton. She also claimed her daughter's best friend, Elizabeth Carey, as a bonus daughter. 

Sharon worked at Walmart Supercenter in Orange Park for 20+ years serving in the bakery department and providing quality customer services to the Walmart patrons. She retired last year due to health concerns. 

Sharon enjoyed spending time with family and close friends. Sharon could often be seen sitting on her patio with a snack cake, crosspatch puzzle, and Diet Pepsi while spending time with her beloved cats Kiki and Viper. While Sharon did not wish for a formal funeral, a celebration of life will be held in Middleburg, Florida at Daniel and Colleen Newton’s home on August 3rd, 2024, at 1PM.
