Shirley Lofgren

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley Mae Lofgren, who left this world on March 16, 2025, at the age of 95. Born in Cicero, Illinois, on September 25, 1929, Shirley lived a full life devoted to her family and home, cherishing her role as a homemaker.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Linda Mattis; son, Gary Lofgren; grandsons, Stephen Mattis, Kyle Lofgren, & Kevin Lofgren; & great grandbabies Dylan & Lucas Lofgren. She touched the hearts of many with her warm spirit and loving demeanor, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a public viewing that will take place at Highland Funeral Home on March 21, 2025, at 1:30 PM. A funeral service will follow at 2:30 PM on the same day. Shirley will be laid to rest thereafter. Burial will take place at 3329 E. Semoran Boulevard, Apopka, FL 32703. Those who wish to honor her memory are welcome to join her loved ones as they celebrate the life of this remarkable woman.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Shirley's memory. Shirley Mae Lofgren's legacy of love and kindness will live on through her family and all who were fortunate to know her.
