Theta Erskine

Theta I. Conner Erskine, our beloved mother passed away after a short illness on September 8, 2022.
Born at Orange Memorial Hospital on May 21, 1938, to Elzie and Irene Conner. She grew up in Apopka. Later in her life she went to Nursing school to get her Nursing License and worked as a Nurse for over 20 years. She retired to Homosassa Springs, Florida and worked several more years in the cafeteria at Rock Crusher Elementary School in Homosassa Springs. She then moved back to the Central Florida area to be near her children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Erskine of 51 years.
She was 1 of eight children, all have passed except for 2 sisters, Audrey and Vivian.
She will be missed dearly by her 2 sons, Jack and Rickie and their wives, her 7 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She loved each and every one of them..
She and Everett were members of the Gulf To Lake Church in Crystal River and they both loved their church and their church families.
While living in Central Florida she attended Surfside Community Fellowship in Cocoa, FL.
She and Everett were members of the Gold Wing Road Riders and visited cities all over the United States on their motorcycle, loving life.

Following the services, Theta's family is continuing the Celebration of Life at Rick & Brenda's home at:
208 E. Silver Star Rd., Ocoee, FL 34761.
Food and refreshments will be served and all are invited to join the family.
