Vera Waterman

WATERMAN VERA E.
- age 80 of Orlando FL.; passed away peacefully April 6, 2018. She was surrounded by her loving children and sister. Vera was a strong southern woman from Dearing, GA, where she nicknamed herself "Rebel". Vera lovingly raised eight children, five of which she gave birth to. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald, a daughter Silina, a son, Brian. She is survived by her daughters Marsha Horal, Virginia Havens, Donna Daniels, and her son Don Waterman. Vera and her beloved cat, Penny, were longtime residents at College Park Towers. Many days Vera could be found tending to the stray cats at College Park Towers, or attending Bingo night. Vera volunteered to be the official photographer for their community events. She enjoyed this role. Burial services will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, 10am at Highland Memory Gardens, Apopka FL. In lieu of flowers, her family ask that you consider making a donation to your local animal shelter in her honor. Vera will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
