William Brode

William Allen Brode, 76, beloved Son, Father, Papa and Great Papa was called to his eternal resting place on June 23, 2024. He entered this world on October 16, 1947 in Baltimore, MD, born to James Warren and Edith Marie Brode. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Jean and John Moyer, first wife Janet Brode, three daughters and sons-in-law Laura & Evandro Viana, Dawn and William Morgan and Kristina Dean and Earic Parker along with his nine grandchildren William (BJ), Christopher & Jason Morgan; Austin, Jacob & Haley Viana; and Jeffrey, Kortney & Jordan Dean. He left behind two adorable great granddaughters Sevaeh & Ariella along with a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. 

He is also survived by his nieces and nephews Darlene, Ray & Tammy Brode; Jordan and Jeremy Moyer; along with great nieces and great nephews Beau, Brooke, Alexis, Lindsey, Madeline, Jamie, Lauren, Austin and Harlynn; also survived by two great nieces twice removed Jolene and Adaline.

Bill was predeceased by his grandparents George & Lillian Brode and Mildred Hagemann German & William Lowe; parents James & Edith Brode and his brothers and sister-in-law George Philip, James Warren & Linda Brode. George Philip (twin of James) passed at birth. Also predeceased by his aunts and uncles Regina & Anthony Brode and Millie & Margaret Lowe and half aunt Mary Anne German and half uncle William Gibson "Gibby" Lowe.

He is also predeceased by David Yingling, his best friend and best man at his wedding.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 30th from 10am-11am at Highland Funeral Home, 3329 E. Semoran Blvd., Apopka FL., where A Celebration of Life will be held at 11am. Repast to follow at the Forest Lake SDA Church, Lower Youth Center, Apopka FL. Mr. Brode will be laid to rest in Cape Canaveral National Cemetery at a later date.
