William Owens

William Allen Owens, beloved brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2024, at the age of 93. Born on January 13, 1931, in Ocala, Florida, William dedicated his life to service, both in the military and his career as a ticket agent for Greyhound Bus Line.

William served his country honorably in the United States Air Force, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. His time in the service shaped his character, instilling values of dedication and resilience that he carried throughout his life.

A resident of Apopka, Florida, William was known for his kindness and unwavering support for his family. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Ruth Owens; nephews James (Bonny) Owens, Jr., Michael (Carrie) Owens, Steven Henderson; and his niece, Tammy Owens, his caregiver, and several grand-nieces and nephews who remember him for his warmth, generosity, and the many cherished memories they shared.

Mr. Owens will be laid to rest on Friday, January 10th, 11am at Highland Memory Gardens, 3329 E. Semoran Blvd., Apopka FL. 32703.
